Promoting Elton John's Breaking Hearts album, this concert was videotaped for air on the Showtime cable channel, as well as commercial distribution and released on two VHS tapes: The Afternoon Concert ("The Breaking Hearts Tour") and "The Night Time Concert".

Legendary artist Elton John returns to the stage in a concert that includes his greatest hits and songs from his new album, “The Diving Board.” The concert was filmed on September 11, 2013 at BBC’s famous Radio Theatre in London. Thirty-three studio albums and Elton John and his trusted copilot, Bernie Taupin, are still making the soundtrack of our lives. Elton John performs with Wham! and Kiki Dee at Wembley

The live Channel 9 television broadcast of Elton John's March 24th 1984 concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, celebrating his 37th birthday which would take place a day later. Live interviews with Molly Meldrum and Dee Murray before & after the concert took place on 'Hey, Hey, It's Saturday', which was interrupted for the concert special.

Recorded as part of the Edinburgh Festival of Popular Music on 17th September 1976, 'Live at the Playhouse Theatre' gives fans an exhilarating view of Elton at the height of his '70s popularity, having just enjoyed his first UK #1 single with 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart.' This electrifying solo performance kicks off with Skyline Pigeon (taken from 'Empty Sky') before ending with a riotous version of 'Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)'. The setlist rips through classic after classic, including 'Rocket Man,' 'Daniel and 'Bennie and the Jets.' It was also the first time Elton performed 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' solo. Climbing on his piano and stomping his way through this virtuoso performance, Elton leaves every ounce of himself on the stage, in a classic concert that was to be the last time he would perform a full show for another 7 months.

In 1970, the BBC broadcast the TV special, Elton John in Concert. The show featured impressive live renditions of songs that would go on to become classics from Elton’s music catalogue, including a version of ‘Burn Down The Mission’. The track is taken from the Tumbleweed Connection album, also released that same year.

After returning to full-time touring in 1997 Elton had focused his attention on touring with his band and touring with Billy Joel.This was the first time since returning to touring that Elton had performed a solo concert. The tour started on 19 February 1999 in Roanoke, Virginia and ended on 20 November 1999 in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is the live performance in Ephesus, Turkey at "The Great Amphitheatre", July 17, 2001.
